At every stage of the game there is a bottleneck. Farming toons, ability mats, credits, even training droids. But the one bottleneck that transcends all stages of the game until the very very very end is gear. That is universal. You will never have enough carbantis.
The exception is ultra kraken supremes. Their bottleneck is omega and zeta mats.
