I had a job and debit card when I was 16... and when you don't have bills to worry about why couldn't kids spend $5, $10, $20, on micro transactions. Its not like its new to them they are basically growing up with that being the norm in gaming, not to mention they all already probably have a smartphone to play on. Don't be surprised if this game lasts five years or more. Clash of Clans be it a more generalized audience had made it five years and still going strong. One would even call it good business strategy to expand your target market.
