What to spend crystals on after energy refreshes?

Is it worth spending crystals on kyrotech or gear? After spending crystals on energy refreshes I still have a small net income of crystals every day. With things like GAC event rewards and other thing...

Like I said, I wasn't sure how the Executor would hold up in arena and I wasn't about to lose my 400 crystals a day.
