TFP Slave/1 Bistan Scimitar Biggs.

Executrix lead - TFP / biggs / FOTP / Slave 1 / consular. make sure to max and mod TFP, as well as max his ship. for me, he has 50% evasion, gives tm to Executrix for every evade, and on basic and special can crit up to 70k. he almost always carries my whole team, if everyone else dies he evades enough to call in the tie assault, which will crush the rest of the enemy. (Executrix is the only one that his ultimate ability does not require you to have 2-5 ships for more effectiveness. it is just as effective with 1 ally alive as with 5)

Why not use Biggs instead of Ahsoka? Or is it because Republic only? It's not as if the AI uses Ahsoka's dispell correctly anyway? Biggs gets health/prot on every target lock, and Mace's basic gives target lock. If on attack, then by all means, use Ahsoka, but I'd think you'd want some more damage dealers in there too. Wedge, Vader, Slave 1 or Fives seems necessary to do something other than draw on offense.

It also hits like a wet paper bag. Granted, my Tarkin is G8 and AA is G9, and the ships are not equal either, but AA's AoE hits harder than those shitty tie fighters do. Tarkin's real weapon is offense up. And that requires your ships to be alive.

i maxed out Tarkin, and the tie fighters deal over 12k each, with 24k crits. the crits are really often, so you're looking at a nice huge hit of about 160k damage spread across the team. ive had a 1v4 with my TFP, and the aoe made it a 1v2 with both survivors in the red.
offense up guarantees at least 1 kill with TFP alive as well

I agree TFP/FOTP are ships are deceptively effective... TFP + Tarkin is a good synergy...

I get your point but I will disagree, Endurance's special is just as effective, if not more so with fewer ships... I have seen 2-3 ships get invulnerability at the right time which negated 8+ attacks. Use a taunter against certain builds (tm reducers) and wow you will think the special is OP.

If you have one ship left you better hope the Tie swarm is the killing blow. which I will admit is not a bad bet.

since i haven't use endurance, i will admit his special can probably be amazing vs AI, but when he uses it on my, i just use basics (which can still target lock through the damage immunity) and then attack whichever loses the immunity first. But i would assume that the AI will be a dumb dumb and use its specials against you when you use the immunity
