I wouldn't say it's wrong - it's inconvenient, and I really feel like CG should officially say one way or the other whether it's OK to use hotutils (or any other app that logs into your account for you) - but without their stamp of approval it tastes too much like a TOS violation to let a third party app log into my account. If it weren't for that, I might pay for hotutils - or use any of the other apps that will open bronziums for you (nod to @scuba). They provide a service. Soem of them get paid for that. CG is content to let them. Right and wrong don't enter into it.
