When cls event come? [MERGED]

I believe it’s all conjecture and hearsay at this point. No announcements have been made. This forum is full of wishful thinking....

I.e. We probably not getting CLS for Christmas. He'll probably be in January. The r2 event will probably be the second recurring event in the DEC calendar. That's probably what will happen. I'm still crossing my fingers though. Seriously. :blush:

So newer players shouldn't get the same chance as older players because of poor game design, i.e. that CLS is to powerful? I hope you are wrong and I guess we just have to wait and see but I think a lot of players will be disappointed if they don't get the same chance as the first installment of CLS.

New players shouldnt have access to chars that are way too op. They should use synergies before getting op Chars.

OK, so I have a full DS empire team, full old school rebels, full Resistance team, a full Jedi team and scoundrels. How many more synergy team do I have to own before I'm "entitled" to have the same chance to unlock CLS as players who started, let's say early 2017? As I barely missed R2 7 stars the first time. CLS is also required in TB.

Some of the reactions in here regarding CLS are a bit silly, if truth be told. This is a game. We play it because we love Star Wars, we love gaming, and we get a sense of accomplishment when we achieve certain things. I know that when I got my 7* Thrawn, I actually let out a shout of sheer and utter enjoyment, like Spurs had just won the Champion's League.

I am frustrated at myself that I didn't farm Old Man Ben when I should have done. I was so busy focussing on getting Kylo Ren to 7* that I missed my window, and now I'm paying the price. Same with BB8. I never really focussed on non-Character toons (like FOST, FOTP and FOO) so now I'm paying the price. However, I'm fixing that. I'm ready for CLS. I'll soon (early January) be ready for BB8 when he returns. I'll be ready for LSR when she appears again. Sure, it's annoying that I can't seem to get much higher than 200 in arena. Sure it's annoying that I don't have any gold characters yet, as I won't sink money into this game, but my view is that IT'S ONLY A SODDING GAME! There are far more important things in my life. So I say (just like Frankie Goes to Hollywood) RELAX. It will happen. Some people are happy to throw ££££ at this game and have the best characters. Good luck to them. Others (like me) have to wait a little longer. That's life.

To all those who are threatening to leave if CLS doesn't return by the Winter Solstice, I say get over yourselves. Do you really think EA give a monkeys if you decide to leave. There are millions of people playing this game worldwide. What do you genuinely think your stance is going to accomplish?!? Sweet naff all. Grow up! EA is a corporation, and corporation exist to make money. If this was a GENUINE free to play app, where would the money come to develop it. How much to you think it costs to develop something like this? Where would that money come from? EA is not a charity. Lucasfilms and Disney are not charities. They are businesses and as such have a duty to develop a PROFITABLE product. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's a simple fact of life.

Any update on when he will come out again? It's really difficult to clime the arena ladder without cls... or even jtr. The cls event needs to return soon.. I wasn't playing when he came out last year. .

It was not stated as a 'super rare' event so as he is such an influential character who sets people at a significant disadvantage who don't have him. I think he will return in December but I want to know other people's opinions on the matter.
