When cls event come? [MERGED]

Very confident that it'll be Rey in December. CLS no idea, but I wouldn't get my hopes high.

Does anyone know when the initial CLS event was?

I hope CLS returns very soon. I have been hoarding gear and zeta mats and until I unlock him I am caught in limbo. It is holding me back from gearing FO and other Toons for DS TB and BB8. If BB8 returns before CLS I will be severely limited because he shares gear with a lot them. Plus the credits needed to take him straight to level 85.

Don't make an OP character and then wait forever at a second chance to unlock him. I had farmed Old Ben and got 7* R2 the next time after the CLS. I hate that I have to wait and I am at the mercy of CG in releasing the event. I have put in the farming, leveling and gearing for the needed characters. Why can't I obtain the prize for all the work?

Can there be an option to pay some crystals to unlock these events when we are ready? Since I am ready for CLS, let me unlock him now and obtain him. Same with BB8 or R2 and Thrawn? Let people pay crystals to unlock these events when they are ready to.

I would be down for that and would happily pay 1k in crystals to take a shot at cls. Be a good monetization option since some people would jump the gun and pay before they were truly ready. Others would pay & complete but might have to spend to gear and level their new toon (more meta toons just adds to gear grind).

They should also integrate things like thrawn into the bimonthly rotation. So once you get yoda rng pulls one of the other events for you to try. Maybe with a 500 crystal refresh to rng roll again if the event pulled isn't to your liking (reroll option disappears upon completion of event tier so you can't 7* thrawn, reroll, 7* bb8, reroll etc.). Be more fun for those of us who 7* yoda and palps but are sitting on teams waiting for other events to return at CG's whim.

I'm really hoping they bring back R2 with CLS. I'm a new player who spends a fair amount of money on the game but still missed getting R2 to 7* by a few shards. If the guys who got CLS the first time had a second chance at R2, it's only fair they bring R2 back with CLS. It's important to remember new players join the game all the time and they should be given the same benefits as older players who have had more time to prepare.
