when we get Vulture Droid, Tri-fighter, etc, should they need pilots?
Maybe we can get the first ships to not have corresponding pilots? or will they require b1 versions?

Yes, use some droids that can't pilot as a new equivalent. Such as B2 in a trifighter or Magnaguard in a hynea bomber etc
