EA this is a very bad project management.
Probably you can share some info to the group for help. Seems your team is not up to the task.
People acting like this because the heist (which appears randomly) wasn't on their time schedule. This is why we can't have nice things.
Who are you, one of the fake accounts for devs. There is a process for everything things. All over here knows that when the notification comes and when the event starts.
What exactly good are you speaking of. Read the forum, you will find hundreds of defects.
You, @jedii_2040, are apparently new here. You know nothing of me. I'm not sure whether to give you a pass or not.
I would give him pass.. come on do it for me. :)"BentWookiee;633976" wrote:

I absolutely agree with you, however, this is the first time it's happened since the credit heist has occurred. I'm sure there's a fix for it.
Not defending what happened, because our Aussie players and others got hosed.
Yep, I'd be making a lot less noise about this if it was an isolated incident
It might be the first incident involving the credit heist and I too am sure there's a fix for it, but the way the game has been set up to handle regional playtimes has been an afterthought from the start. I am hopeful the feedback from the notification problem, and now this problem, brings things to the forefront of their thinking with respect to timezones.
Likewise. I think it was the fact the pop-up happened and they decided to roll it out anyways. I'm sure they'll make it right for those that missed out. At least I hope so!"BentWookiee;634002" wrote:

Just goes to show this person CLEARLY does not know me. It's cool. I'll give him a pass for now.

My guilds raid crashed - no compensation.
My guild missed the bonus guild coins (we had 103k) - no compensation.
I have no hope that this will be made right.- unimatr1x9 years agoNew Vanguard

I hope devs would say more on acknowledging how the concerns of those affected will be addressed... - PaulG911729 years agoNew Vanguard

Unfortunately, unless EA can determine who participated in the credits heist event and who didn't participate, there is no fix for this. If they run it again in the next week, those who already got 2 mil credits will get more credits. The credit heist event should never have been rolled out for such a short length of time, and i think EA would agree with that in retrospect. Sadly, as much as it annoys me, we need to move on and hope EA reviews their procedures so as this never happens again. Going forward, it needs to either run for a fixed amount of time for everyone, or not at all.
There's a very simple fix, and unless their database is set up in a very complicated fashion, it should be fairly easy to determine who is in the affected time zones - it is hard to believe they wouldn't have this information - and only a bit more complicated to work out who participated in the event. It isn't rocket science. It might take some time, but if that's the case then all they'd have to do is tell us they're working on it, and we feel like the issue is being fully acknowledged, understood on a regional basis, and is being taken seriously.
If you don't tell someone their behaviour or performance is poor, they don't learn and then repeat the same mistakes. If you roll over and let this go unprotested, they don't see it as a problem, no review of procedures happens, and more regional stuff ups occur. I get that complaining about this stuff isn't for everyone, but if no-one is stubborn enough to do it, then nothing will get done.
If they can search out who took additional raid rewards and then cleanse them, they can run an algorithm to see how much everyone collected from the CH this time and too everyone up to $2m credits accordingly.
Might take a little time but relatively easy to do.
Will they? ..... That's the question. "SpencersSocks;632965" wrote:

EA/CG almost redeemed themselves with the Palp event...then drop the ball like this...
Wow.... @Xylo_Phona a small miscommunication between staff (which happens at EVERY job) and you sieze the opportunity to bash them even though it's been fixed.... Good job! I'm sure we're all better off because of it! And I absolutely know that you've never made a small error at your place of work..... Because of course the complainer is always magically perfect....
Though I seem to have some complaining issues myself.... Complaining about complainers seems to be my thing.....
hey everyone, look at @SpencerSocks, he is such a cool guy, showing me up and all...
...by posting nearly 2 hours after I and 3 1/2 pages of other people did (his post was mid page four o this thread), but for whatever reason you decided to chose mine to make your pointless point.
By the time you posted, sure the event was working as it was supposed to but It doesn't change the FACT that people had a legitimate gripe, that EA/CG sent out a message that the event was live and it was NOT live.
And to add, you see all these following pages in this thread, 8 at this moment, of people saying that they still never saw the event on certain devices.
So yeah, that is seriously dropping the ball. The timer excuse that they have given is flimsy. People have been programing using CLOCK for 40+ years now. They use he clock to initially set you to the time zone you are in They use he clock to drop energy. they use the clock as a timer to allow/disallow you to guild hop. Yet they cant figure out how to use it to drop an event properly? Cross platform? And this also goes into the gripe many of us have with the Time Zone clock issue or with the Day Light Savings time issue.
And you do realize I can go look at your history of posts and see all the whining you have done right?- EA PLEASE STOP BEING NOOBS AND FIX YOUR EVENT
