Ahnald's video was pretty detailed and gave a lot of interesting points about it. This should be a "phase 1" or "Phase X" of a real raid, not the whole thing.
At least they'll dump out a new boring raid in 6 months?
With regard to the raid specifically - I can auto all 8 teams and collect rewards? Sign me up.
This is such a terrible take. “Who cares about quality, design, creativity, etc etc, if I can just press auto to bypass developer incompetence?”
That's not even remotely what that means. It means I can save a lot of time and and effort and still get my rewards - to me that's a win. Maybe you enjoy fighting RNG and the tedium of moving mods around. Doing that once or twice is novel and interesting. Doing it for the next 8-9 months isn't appealing. It quickly becomes laborious and uninteresting to me. If you feel differently, that's fine, but kindly don't put words in my mouth - please.
in context, it’s a dismissal of everything wrong with the raid. No design choice made related to this raid has been a good one.
Pressing auto does not dismiss how disappointing this raid is, how out of touch the developers are with what constitutes fun gameplay, and how sad the reality is that, without changes, this is what our raid experience is going to be for nine months.
“I can auto? Sign me up”, is not exactly the feedback players should be giving this early in the raid life cycle.
As I said in my previous post - there's plenty to not like about the raid. There's also some things that I do like about it. I realize that doesn't fit into your box of what "feedback players should be giving". Are people only allowed to be angry here? Does it bother you that I'm not angry? I'm only taking exception to the wild speculation that the problems with the raid have anything at all to do with datacrons. I'm fine with it if you think the raid is complete trash with no redeeming traits - that's not my take.
