What's going on wrong is that "false advertisement" has a specific meaning and you don't know what it is.
I do not agree with every change they made, but they never made any specific promises related to any individual character, and they also said this would not be a strictly linear "faster gets less damage and slower gets more damage". Other factors were involved. And the change to advantage meant all the FO got changed anyway.
They have the right to change whatever they want at any time. Polite requests from us to reverse or ameliorate changes are about all we have available.
