Sorry I should've clarified those are numbers for protection. 1335 = the equivalent amount of addition health or protection you would gain from the increase in +15 defense. I only used his calculator to find the increase in armor% as a result of +15 defense. And +5% protection would simply be the base protection * 1.05.
Are u using Jedi Knight Anakin?
My calculation says u get 1001 additional HP from +15def
And you get 1426 additional HP from 5% protection
How did you get 1426 addition prot if his base protection is only 21000? Afaik, it would just be 21000*.05 = 1050.
Thats his base protection gain... But u cant forget on top of that his armor is boosting it.. So his effective HP gain is higher
**** that's right I completely forgot. So it's unlikely then that there'll be a toon where +15 def is better than +5% prot. Maybe Palpatine at lead or something since he has much more hp than protection.
Maybe... I did some trial and error but not into super nitty gritty. The defense stats were the hardest to crack.. By far. Wish i knew about the work of others.. But got to know it well by doing it all from scratch.
Defense (armor) doesnt mean a whole lot on it's own if a person can't correlate it to HP. At least they let u "try mods on" and u can see which stats go green and which go red (but even that isnt a full story, ur example is perfect.. 5% prot vs 15def. In game u cant tell whats better). If i knew a few months ago what i know now, i would have saved millions of credits
