Why all the "Vanilla" TW??

Any reason why we've gone back to all the Territory War events being "vanilla" ones without any character/squad/faction bonuses? Basically it means, assuming both guilds have a modicum of organisatio...

I guess a lot of TW competition oriented guild and player didn't really like that, as it brought a bit more of "randomness" in the play.
Personally i liked the unpredictable TW's, but yes, bonuses where overpowered.
