Honestry if they would had say, make 7* as the reward for 1-150 6* for 151-400 5* for 401-900 4* for 901-1500 and 3* for 1500+ the tournaments would have been fine. And when they find a hacker (because CG doesn't ban) moslve that character with no reward yo the hacker server. To compete with the others. Maybe max 10x per character to reward deep squads. And you have a winner. Everyone gets something. Oh and if someone already has that character at 7* they are put into special 7* shards (even if they didn't 7* their toon yet) and they could and quite extra raid gear/credits?
