Why do F2P players always have to let you know they're F2P?

Are F2P players the new vegan? Just about every thread has that one guy that pops in and says "I'm F2P blah blah and ea is just after my money blah blah oh did I say I was F2P, well I am..." Do...

Lol it's not any sort of pride or identity welfare or what-have-you.

It's because when asking for advice, let's say on a strong arena team, you need to specify FTP so that people don't suggest running Rex lead Wiggs Anakin SF when you have zero access to Rex of SF, so that is useless advice.
