Why we need a sandbox like mode to play in

I firmly believe the lack of content is intentional and part of their financial strategy. This is basically a collecting and building game so by default we want to improve our rosters. When they limit in game activities we still want to do something involving the game so many turn to improving their rosters, which often times involves spending crystals on gear or refreshes. of people that are spending money out of sheer boardem.
