Story Mode in SWGOH's future?

I had the ambition to make this post because of the recent news of a Training Mode being added and I am beyond estatic for that, and I can't wait a day longer for it to come to game in the way that we've been anticipating. (Sad that no omicrons are included, but I hope that's due for an update later down the line, like a toggle that allows only TW/GAC/TB omis active in one battle.) 

Anyways, it got me thinking while I was reading the dev post that this game could really use a Story Mode, seperate from the campaign battles. The purple Hutt that we see in the beginning of the game, where is he now for the endgame players? I do understand that the premise is absurd, but it's something to think about, as it could easily add more depth to the cantina characters we've known for a decade at this point. Now as for what the story could be, the only thing I know about the setting of this game is that it takes place far, far after the Skywalker saga. It's technically canon, but it uses non-canon characters. I'll leave someone else to think about the logistics of that, but nevertheless.

If this game could be expanded upon and still be as accessible as it is currently, I'd love to see more depth into these characters.
