I agree. GW used to be so fun, I liked the challenge. Sadly it's gone and I don't think they will bring that back.

I agree that it's not fun but propose an alternative solution.

I appreciate the power cap on GW because of the amount of time other new aspects of the game take for veteran players; i.e., TB and TW. HOWEVER... that intent is not fully realized in the current incarnation because I still have to go into each battle manually to hit the auto button. It's just an annoying maintenance type activity that does not add to my enjoyment of the game. Either make the difficulty scale like it used to, or make it sim-able. I vote sim-able.

Just like with Challenges and PVE Batlles, GW should be sim-able once you've conquered it. What would the 3-Star equivalent be for GW? I don't know, maybe if you run one team through the whole thing without losing a toon that's considered 3-Staring GW. And new players would strive to be able to sim GW so they can spend more time on TB/TW.

Either let veterans sim GW or give us a "Full Auto" button on the GW home screen that will take a single team through all 12 battles, ending in either defeat or full completion.

So I have a level 84 account. Top 50 arena, Top 1 fleet. Arena is Wiggs / R2 / Ezra / Thrawn. Highest geared are crew (Tarkin / TFP / FOTP / Maul / Boba). And I started going down the Phoenix, which is a notch lower in gear (4 Stun Guns for Kanan and Zeb to get to G9...4???) but mostly kept up. They have been a GW work horse. They'd fall behind a bit, then I'd gear them and level them, and voila. My top 'squad power' squad would be 1 G11 and 4 G10. My Phoenix team usually handles GW all by itself (its reasonably well modded, nothing insane). It might have some problem with super high DPS squads (and by that I mean Wiggs) on Nodes 11 or 12, but I have my own arena worthy Wiggs - plug them in for a node and all is well.

Yesterday's node 12 was a G12 zTarkin with G11 Thrawn / Vader / Shore / EP with top 20 arena caliber mods. I couldn't kill one of them. Granted, I didn't think I needed to TM load anything, so I wasn't TM loaded. But this mismatch was my GW life for over two months (and only stopped once I 'broke' node 12). I can confidently say I would have left the game if I had to endure the ridiculousness that was GW prior to the 'Elder's update' once DS TB came out. The 'work' feeling of the game would have overridden any enjoyment I receive from doing well or progressing characters.

Please, do not bring back old GW.

this. gw is now the sandbox where we can use other teams. I'm all for another gw that is harder but no,op

I'd be okay with this. That way people can play it if they have the time and/or want to test teams and can sim it on days when TB/TW or real life take up too much time.
