Will competition with other GoH like games will give us some benefit?

MSF is pretty much a GOH clone. Since its release, GOH has seen a decline in both (estimated) revenue and (estimated) monthly active players.

So, no, competition will not be good for this game.

It’s the only time the devs interact with us

Now with ShillChangers branching out to other games and advertising them while SWGOH is in a lull

We might see more dev interaction for a week or two before they go back to the silent treatment unless the pressure is constant

I haven’t seen them make things easier for F2P when MSF came out and was on a rise and they only care about the very top end spenders

Only time will tell if they are going to introduce more F2P friendly content

This. I think when CG sees competition they tend to cater more to spenders than f2p. In general, that's been the MO since August of 2017, but whenever there is a perceived threat they kick it up a notch.

Oh, I'm sure they're plenty engaged in the whales-only Discord...for obvious reasons it's more worth their while to maintain a presence there than here in the forums where all the cheapskate players can be found.

Swgoh is picking revenue back up from a severe decline, I attribute this to geo tb and g13. And yea, competition is good.

Idk if cg is in there- but whale only discord when it started I thought was a great idea. A lot of whale hate here for no reason. It’s their money.

MSF is awful. It's a dumbed-down game...this game has a different target audience and requires a lot more brainpower than MSF.

Msf made me love swgoh more

I have played both and I think both games reveal the flaws in the other game.
