So I invested in a droid team and it paid off very well so far, I was able to always be top10 and sometimes even #1 when the ranking favours me. But I'm starting to lag behind. All those new character...

Droids were meta for a long time, they even made a short come back when Jawa Engineer was added. So it's natural for them to not receive much love while other metas still need some. Plus they're still top 100 material, some even breach top 10. There's other metas that can't even do that.
That said Separatist is one of those factions, which includes GG, B2, and Magnaguard. We might even get some new Separatist Droids like the Droideka. So there's hope for the faction, even if it's not not all Droids getting buffed.
