It depends on what your definition of success is.
Like, you can't just look at the top 5 teams on a leaderboard and say "these are the teams that work." There are 5000 people per board. Even the top 100 is still iffy. What teams get what amount of adjustments and in what direction is something that we don't have enough information to say.
Droids were on top for a very long time, and even after new characters, reworks of existing characters, new abilities, and all these other things they're still good. Not top 10 good, but top 100 is doable good.
