Will they bring this back?
Will the new era legacy be the way for new characters to be added to the game permanently or will they go back to how it was before and still add characters that you can use as soon as they release? (Single unit releases)

Yes, until they work out a new method that costs more.
Tbf its not that bad, its not fun but we do get more free stuff than previously both in terms of shards and gear levels. Thats not even mentioning the R10 mats or LSTs dependant on what you need.
Fun, no. Better for roster growth, yes.
Relics are more of an issue for me now, I've got a lot of toons at R1 now. Some of them I've bumped up to 2 or 3, but I can't split my focus more than it already is, and I'm trying to save relic mats for SEE
