The vets were not so bad I found. I have been farming Baze for I forget how many months and I am still not 7*. I dont refresh and only spend x5 as well as never buying shards from the store, but I am finding Baze to be the longest farm out of all my toons so far.
I wish I would have farmed him while he was in the shard store for a short amount of time but I thought he would not be any good.
MT/sion and loads of the hard nodes with a small limit and really bad drop rate, but luckily you can get sion in the PVE battles now so it gives us another source for him.
At least with MT you get the event and you can get 20 shards each time and the event is frequent.
