I feel like a lot of people on this forum don't realize that if your account is only a couple years old, or newer, you're probably not supposed to be clearing every new piece of content the second it drops.

My account is only about 9-10 months old and around 7 million GP. I've bought a few packs here and there, but most of what I've focused on is ships because everyone and their mother won't shut up about how important they are. After actually doing it, I kinda get why.

The thing that gets me is all the crying about Colosseum. Is it perfect? No. But people act like it's the worst thing CG has ever added when it's given me a crap load of rewards.

What people seem to miss is that fleets lead to crystal income. Those crystals let you 5-star the new Era characters without spending a fortune. Then if you're willing to spend about $20 on the Episode Pass, you get a bunch of the resources needed to actually level those Era characters up and make them usable.

I've seen it firsthand. You're obviously not going to beat the dudes dropping hundreds of dollars a month, but you can compete way more than people on here act like you can.

The biggest thing for me is the LST rewards. Those things progress an account faster than almost anything else in the game. So when I see people saying Colosseum is pointless or terrible, I honestly don't get it. The mode has helped my account a ton.

It just feels like some people would rather complain about CG than figure out how other players are making the mode work. Build your fleets, get your crystal income rolling, use those crystals on Era characters, and if you can afford it grab the Episode Pass. For about $20 a month, you can make way more progress than people give it credit for.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but Colosseum really isn't anywhere near as bad as this forum makes it out to be.

10 year account player here. Coliseum was a big let down at first.&nbsp; At least now with different loaned units we get to play around a little each day with the rotating boss.&nbsp; The reward options have gotten a little better with the high end relic mats better but if you don't care about Relic 5 LSTs and the Relic 10 does not really make a noticeable difference (relic delta never really matter after all the drama) then it is still does not feel worth the overall time.&nbsp; My biggest complaint is every era the road to success changes and with the vast amount of materials introduced I feel like I got burned for spending last era even after they gave some crystals to offset whatever the issue was.&nbsp; You would think I would know but because CG keeps changing the conditions, I have no idea what a dollar is worth now except 7-stars are still needed at the end and with crystal income from era battles, etc... I just bought the crystal packs again and used the event to earn shards instead of a $30 pack that unlocks a $75 (or whatever it was the first era) pack...&nbsp; How the heck did they decide on 135 levels now?&nbsp; I won't be buying in packs for money for that any time soon.

I can sort of see where you're coming from and I have to agree that taking into perspective the account age as relative to progress that takes a big weight off my shoulders. I'm here to enjoy the game not to stress on out (more than I probably should). Having played this game 10 years ago and only got to restarting 3 months ago the progress has literally been lightspeeds faster than I used to.

Also I know it's different game modes I realize they have their roles

You have fleet for crystals which fuel a lot of things
GAC/Conquest/TW to actually use the characters and teams you grind for
Coliseum I can see how they want to make it a theorycrafting play area but placing a HEAVILY sought after resource material for it people are going to only want to play meta or pay into it to get the ranks. But just to remind people, way back when people were happy getting 100 tokens on auto daily saving for 5000 to get an aurodium that's like a month per LST and now play your cards right you get 2-3 per month

I probably went through 32 parsecs all over the place with what I was saying but to summarize it. Maybe stop stressing about fast progression and realize that playing today gets you further than years of grinding a decade ago. Even though new modes like Coliseum force a strict meta because of high-stakes rewards, the baseline payout is still way better than the old days.

On the other hand, we shouldn't also be silent if things don't feel our way, that's how the devs also learn the temperature of the consumer base and enact changes how they see fit, and we see growth not only in the game but also in our experience.
