What are you even upset about? You get loads of great, free stuff and are crying about that you also have an option to buy other things? The crystals are a great value compared what they usually cost but if you don’t want it, don’t buy it. No one is forcing you.

If you make good use of 5.000 crystals they can provide a bunch to your roster, yes. But getting a full toon for the same price is a way better deal unless you already have that toon. It's like everywhere in the game, RNG can be your friend or rip you apart.

Well actually it's not for "most people." It's for newer players. And it's way cheaper on a crystal per shard basis. Tradeoff is obviously that the toon is random, but if you are newer, have crystals, and are willing to gamble, it's a great deal.

Luckily you can just ignore it like I am.
