As in the value of defense has undefined variables only calculable once the attacker and his attributes are taken into account.

Just in terms of how they are mathed if you have 50% base on a character then having 25% unique won't make 75% or 62.5%. let's not even get into the whole attackers attributes. That's what I meant.

Saying that they are % already so it's addition doesn't always work.
Try and work out a tarkins defense using his unique that gives him 50% of his potency as defense% .

It’s not that complicated.

First you have to get Defense from Armor Value:
Defense=(Armor*(CharLvl*7.5))/100-Armor)

Then you multiply Defense by (100 + bonus%)/100

To get your new Armor value you use:
Armor=(100*Defense)/(Defense+(CharLvl*7.5))

You’ll get approximate value unless you remove any extra Defense/Armor from your unfinished Gear levels (As game calculations are done on full gear levels and then the extra pieces are added after the %)

Do you know how tenasity works with his special when it comes to crit avoidance?

Based on the first reply to this thread, tenacity % should be added. So my g8 Jolee has 30%, 130% after his bonus, and should get 65% crit avoidance.

To add: Potency and Tenacity actually ARE percents, and are additive. Defense looks like a percent in the display, but there is a hidden flat value, which is why that one does not appear additive with bonuses.
