5* C3PO useful?

I have him at 6* and plan to get him leveled up. I think he could work on my CLS lead squad for Arena, assuming I get Chewie to 7* and Gear up Chewie and Han. I've seen C3P0 on Squads around rank 100 (same squad I described) with the CLS lead. I think if you have JTR, or a solid Rebel squad(s), he could be useful for TW and have some viability in Squad Arena, or Grand Arena.

Legendaries are definitely viable, even at 5*. The only place they don't work is heroic raids, and that's just because of the star restriction. I run 5* chewie in arena daily.

Im not going to change my Traya team for now, but cls chewie c3 r2 han looks like a solid team to me, so ill get them geared, for ga, tw, potentially arena if things change significantly there.

I think I'll do the same. For now my Traya team is also probably the way to go. I do have a 7* Chewie, Rhan, r2 at gear 12, but my mods are not entirely competitive in my shard to compete with 320+ speed Revans etc.

He is probably 99% as useful at 5* as he is at 7*. He's not an attacker so the ONLY thing he is lacking at 5* is total health. He's also stealthed most of the time and has 30% evasion with 3 stacks of Translation so honestly it will be hard to notice a difference. And, in addition to all this he has the 3rd highest base protection in the game.

step 1- han + Chewie + c3
Step 2- Enter Military Might
Step 3 - reach boss phase
Step 4- one shot palpatine with Han's opening shot

I'd say he's worth it even it he's not gonna be in raids. A tough TW/GA defense or a easy Offense
