And, really, her passive heal is replaceable with Lumi's thus freeing up a spot for JC/Daka or another support/DPS, depending on your comp. I always use both in GW. The heal on Barriss's base attack makes a major difference in topping up characters without putting heals on cooldown.
GW is a marathon, not a sprint, and is perfect for Barriss.
There's definitely more than one way to skin a cat for sure lol. I've just personally found that she's easily replaceable. I regularly face full teams of level 60 toons in full purple gear as a level 53 and I have yet to be unable to complete a GW even without her. I guess my point is she's not totally unusable.....but that's about it lol.
