Anti Jedi and Sith talk and FUN SWU talk

So I always read people talking about how the Jedi have no anti-Sith abilities and no taunt and I do agree, to a point.

The Jedi have THE best synergies in the game. Not only this but they are by far the most versitial "team" considering there are more Jedi than any other faction. Just change a leader and your play style changes. It is a hard group to build up but in the end is great. Jedi have the Only real straight up heals in the game and Sith get heal immunity. (heals mean nothing anymore end game but hey it's true).

They are nerfed however; Leader abilities mostly help only Jedi. Sith and Others mess them up. Crappy DPS, except QGJ and some are OK. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none so they are always beatable (except healing but healing is not viable really).

Jedi should not get anti Sith abilities except for one or two. Sith are more powerful, even Yoda can't kill his old Apprentice Dukoo before he runs away, after his dark side training. Mace to Yoda "we have lost the ability to sense the dark side of the force".
However, One-Liner-Obi says "Sith are our Speciality" so some should have it.

Mace is the only one who should get an anti Sith buff. Maybe Anakin and maybe Clone Wars Obi. But the only Jedi to beat Sith Lords in today's cannon, were Mace (Sid) and Anakin (Dukoo, even though one could argue he needed to embrace the dark side to do so and when he struck down The Apprentice, he became The apprentice at that point), and Obi (Maul, but Darth Plagius was still alive at this point and Sid was the apprentice so was Maul really a Sith Lord? Or just in title. Not to mention if you watch The Clone Wars Annimated series, directed by Lucas and considered cannon, Sid actually Kills Maul).

More Sith are killed by Sith than Jedi in the SWU. Jedi have very passive and cerebral play styles, except for QGJ who, was "as powerful as mace and wise as Yoda", but was to reckless to be on the council so he is offensive.

All and all the Devs did a great job with lore to abilities, it cannot be easy in a game like this. Anakin is the only light side toon with healing immunity. Dukoo was trained by the best swordsman ever, his master Yoda. Just Make Yoda a lefty and have better sword skills than Dukoo (sounds annoying). Kit Fisto was the third best behind them in swordsmanship (even though he goes down like a chump in Ep. 3). Princess is creepy force good with blasters. There can be some changes that can make it better an that is to be expected.

Fixes and fun ideas:
Mace needs a buff, just give him a taunt and Sith dodge, done. When Old Ben is killed, he should disappear and his cloak should fall. Bobas revive fits in better with old cannon. Ahsoka founded the rebellion but has no synergies with them but does With night sisters, not to mention she was the youngest padawan ever and she blows. Speaking of the rebellion, Where is Wedge (have him call ally like Biggs but apply crit down on hit)! Plo Koon should get a great ship synergy when it happens. Jedi Master Krell, Jedi with anti clone abilities (strange syns but he could be very powerful). Jaba, AoE defense up and defense down on enemy in one ability, high tenacity.

My fav, Porkins. Ability "Having a little Trouble Here": When he is defeated in combat he does %max health DMG to enemy team, and give him a taunt with low health. Pair with Poe for destruction as normal. Both will die but whatever.

This is a great game but as ALL it could use a couple Fixes that could make for more group diversity. Any other fun ideas or fixes?

One gameplay idea, maybe The Devs could provide a "Once a day use" random character that is at you top 5 average power, so you take it as an Ally and try a leveled toon that you may want to invest in and otherwise might not have.

  • Just want to say that I love seeing all-Jedi teams in Arena and GW...

Darth Maul shines in those battles.
  • Maul was a Sith assassin and never got proper Sith Lord training, thus he was not included in the Rule of Two.

Asajj Ventress was to be killed because she was becoming too powerful and thus adventured the RO2.

And yes, Maul is crazy vs Jedi teams :) with some flow, he can pretty much one shot the entire team himself, all in one turn.
