actually I got past him easily because the guy appears to have made another "friend" that he is currently going back and forth with 20 places back from me. They just keep attacking each other and going nowhere.
This is why I say it's common courtesy to avoid people during their payouts. Because it accomplishes nothing to be vindictive and go back and forth.
