Arena - Rey Jedi Training
I thought she was gonna suck and OH boy was I wrong. It is MUCH MUCH worse than that. I have her maxed out with all gear and zetas with good enough mods. Been running her with R2 BB8 (zeta) CLS GK....

Why would you think that? While yes you are right I did purposely target new Rey teams today to see what all the fuss is all about this “best defensive character we ever released”, you are going to be totally wrong that the novelty will wear off and people will avoid her instead of targeting her. With my standard meta team of cls lead, zolo, thrawn, gk, and r2z2, it would normally take me 1min30secs to 2min30secs to beat a cls meta team, 3-4mins to beat a gk/zbarriss team in the top 20. Today of all my matches with the new Rey team, only 1 match lasted more than a minute. While she could be good on offense, she is absolutely terrible on defense. If nothing changes, I would be seeking her team out all the time rather than avoiding her as you think will happen. If she is no good on d, what is she good for arena wise? We already have meta teams that can beat everyone on offense, she is not needed there. At best she will shave a minute from your effort to beat a zbarriss team. Not sure she is worth the effort/cost to get her.
