Ben is generally better at disabling, but he didn't change anything when he went f2p, either. I doubt we'll see an Empire team enter the meta any time soon. In fact, none of the p2p releases have caused a meta change as far as I can remember- if you're thinking of QGJ, he was f2p for a while before the "speed update" that shifted the meta.

I just have a feeling that Tarkin will become a must have. There is always a method to their madness. Tarkin being released means something. I just don't know what it is....
RG was an after thought. Very few kept farming him from the beginning, they released a package with him and the next month, he becomes one of the best toons in the game. Now granted, I realize this is a bit different, as RG was a real $ pack but nonetheless, as I said before, his release means something. If they wanted to just make more toons available to f2p, Cad Bane would of made MUCH MORE sense as he was the log in character a few months back, and they didn't give out enough shards for people to unlock him. He would of made much more sense, unless they have a plan to make people want/need Tarkin...
