- ManlyVanLeeSeasoned NewcomerThis is from a post on Reddit I made about a month ago. I'll add an update at the end:
Jango, Bossk, Boba are the key top 3. The next step down is Dengar, but still really good. With a Bossk lead he'll essentially be your healer. Then it depends on a lot of things.
Embo does some crazy damage, but doesn't debuff a lot so he's not entirely ideal for Bossk or Jango lead, which will be what you're using anyway. He's your choice lead for P1 of the Sith raid.
Zam is very, very fast and seriously underrated. At higher levels she can do some crazy damage and no one really is scared to face her so she's constantly tripping people up. Excellent choice for Territory Battles, crappy for raids.
Greedo is too squishy to be valuable until very high levels, and honestly by then you probably can pick someone with better damage output. Great for raids, not for much else.
Aurra is the one I have the least experience with, but she's essentially like Embo. Does some high damage, but doesn't have a ton of utility. She was made for P3 of the Sith Raid, and although she's likely pretty good anywhere there are just better options.
Cad Bane has plenty of utility. He's tankier than others and does a little bit of everything right. He's also an easy farm so it doesn't hurt to work on him early in game. The damage output is solid but not spectacular. I also wonder how he does at r7 because he will gain a bunch of evasion, so when he gets a payout he'll be almost at 50% (if my math is right). Might make him even more of a pain to deal with.
And finally IG88 is kind of like Greedo in that he's too squishy to do anything until later levels, and by then you have better options. Honestly he's better used with the Grievous nuke team. Though you need his ship for Han's Falcon and he's probably an important part of the Malevolence fleet. Easy farm too.
Update: I have put some work into Zam and want to echo my previous sentiments... she's awesome. Excellent for Geo TB and seriously messes with people when they underestimate her.
As for a TD team you would use Boba, Zam, Dengar, Greedo, and Cad. It's not an ideal lineup although it's a fairly easy squad to acquire. With this team you'll be fast, but TDs just dont do THAT much damage on their own and with this squad your only real true damage dealer is Boba, and until you hit relics his damage isn't all that great anyway. The big 3 for dealing real damage in the faction are Boba, Jango, and Embo. - matthewsaadaNew Novice
Don't underestimate greedo. Hits like a truck (could hit like 6 times in a row). Can have 120k health and protection and with his counter and his health steal, he becomes very hard to kill. - matthewsaadaNew Novice

Facts. Love this team. Using Embo over another AOE slows your payout a bit with Jango lead, but it's worth it because he's a monster.
The conventional wisdom you will hear is "use Bossk lead for defense and Jango lead for offense," but I think the reverse is actually true. Bossk defends poorly because:
A- it's imperative for Bossk to get his taunt up ASAP and his lead offers no initial speed boost, so it's easy to just use crowd control on him and then blow up his teammates
B- the AI is dumb and won't focus the weakest target, so they'll never hit payout.
Meanwhile Jango gives you +30 speed off the bat, making it much easier to get Bossk taunting, and AI-controlled hunters will all use their AOEs right away which will complete a big chunk of the payout requirement immediately and get those auto-rezzes on everyone. You give up the big passive healing from Bossk lead, but the added firepower is worth it. Also Jango's lead zeta isn't really necessary, which is nice.
I just wish Aurra was more widely useful. I have her chilling at G11 from an ill-conceived plan to use her in Sith P3, but now that the raid is a joke she's pretty much just on GA/TW cleanup crew duty. - matthewsaadaNew Novice

Meh on r7 Greedo. It's a nice thing to have but 100k protection/health and only 46% defense isn't great at r7.
It's the same argument I'm having with someone about r7 Count Dooku. If he's your only relic toon and you're beating other G12s with him, it's not that exciting because one r7 of pretty much any toon can take down G12 characters. If you're facing other relic characters then the stats just aren't that good. One stun or daze or blind and suddenly you just have a squishy sitting duck.
It's not a bad idea to take Greedo to max, but there are just way better options. Jango, Boba, and Embo can all match the damage output (barring a random 10 shot Greedo salvo, and for every one of those you get there will be a dozen one shot attacks) and have better survivability.
Well I have all 5 of those bh at r7 except bossk. As well as all the top toons, dr, malak, gg, jka, Jkr etc
But Close to 115k health and protection and trust me close to 50% armour is fine. I've got my r5 gk at 70%+ and it's still like he'd at 50%, don't think it adds to much more once it gets over 50%. And your saying embo isn't as squishy? He's worse, throw his hat and half of his protection is done and he gains offence based on his max protection so the game sets him up to have low health and becomes just as squishy. My greedo hits as hard as my boba and jango and to say one stun and he's dead is a bit off point with boosk taunting all the time and how greedo can recover health and protection through his lead. It's not meta in general with the bh but with this squad I can get through geo tb quite well, get 10+ mil damage in phase 1 of the hstr, and greedo contributes a huge amount to both of those. - Best all-round squad is Bossk, Embo, Jango, Boba & Dengar.
Best for a specific task depends on the task.
Be aware that toons who deal significant TD (Thermal Detonator) damage tend to hit like a limp noodle with their other attacks and plan accordingly. it - Thermals for sure are fun, and do really well in the new Geo TB.
Bossk Boba Dengar Zam and last can be Cad or Embo. I like Embo because he's cool and has a nice hat, and dispells on basic which is quite convenient. - Nice post, Sparky.

Zeta 88 synergies well on TD team- I'd agree with what others have said. Bossk Jango Bobba Dengar and Embo are the best all around. Then you can switch around between Jango Bossk and Embo leads.
