This is from a post on Reddit I made about a month ago. I'll add an update at the end:
Jango, Bossk, Boba are the key top 3. The next step down is Dengar, but still really good. With a Bossk lead he'll essentially be your healer. Then it depends on a lot of things.
Embo does some crazy damage, but doesn't debuff a lot so he's not entirely ideal for Bossk or Jango lead, which will be what you're using anyway. He's your choice lead for P1 of the Sith raid.
Zam is very, very fast and seriously underrated. At higher levels she can do some crazy damage and no one really is scared to face her so she's constantly tripping people up. Excellent choice for Territory Battles, crappy for raids.
Greedo is too squishy to be valuable until very high levels, and honestly by then you probably can pick someone with better damage output. Great for raids, not for much else.
Aurra is the one I have the least experience with, but she's essentially like Embo. Does some high damage, but doesn't have a ton of utility. She was made for P3 of the Sith Raid, and although she's likely pretty good anywhere there are just better options.
Cad Bane has plenty of utility. He's tankier than others and does a little bit of everything right. He's also an easy farm so it doesn't hurt to work on him early in game. The damage output is solid but not spectacular. I also wonder how he does at r7 because he will gain a bunch of evasion, so when he gets a payout he'll be almost at 50% (if my math is right). Might make him even more of a pain to deal with.
And finally IG88 is kind of like Greedo in that he's too squishy to do anything until later levels, and by then you have better options. Honestly he's better used with the Grievous nuke team. Though you need his ship for Han's Falcon and he's probably an important part of the Malevolence fleet. Easy farm too.
Update: I have put some work into Zam and want to echo my previous sentiments... she's awesome. Excellent for Geo TB and seriously messes with people when they underestimate her.
As for a TD team you would use Boba, Zam, Dengar, Greedo, and Cad. It's not an ideal lineup although it's a fairly easy squad to acquire. With this team you'll be fast, but TDs just dont do THAT much damage on their own and with this squad your only real true damage dealer is Boba, and until you hit relics his damage isn't all that great anyway. The big 3 for dealing real damage in the faction are Boba, Jango, and Embo.
