- DaPowerfulJediNew SpectatorProbably First Order. Usable in all three raids, and with KRU’s lead zeta they’re great for TW defense.
- The best defensive team is the one that the enemy underestimates. Its crazy when I see a single Cls having 15+ battles at defense..
- In TW your goal for a defensive team is to have more than one defense. Your goal is to have your opponent have to use more than one team to take them out. As odd as it sounds, the team that does that most consistently is First Order, specifically zKru, FOO, FOE, Ren, FOST. Every single TW we do our FO get multiple defenses sometimes even 5-10. We’re a 150m gp guild. For overall consistency and number of defenses, it has been my experience that nothing beats FO in that regard, aside from perhaps Traya. You need them decently modded of course with a high emphasis on speed, especially FOO. With the bonuses they get in TW plus the fact they regen health and protection from KRU’s lead, they are built for multiple defenses.

We've just the enemy take 28 attempts at a zbastila, zbarriss, zgmy, gk & ezra squad. Still got the first 3 standing, with the first 2 full health & protection.
I think this is a lower gp vs higher gp thing. Most higher gp guilds should have plenty to take out squads like that. In fact, Qira lead plus Nest can take that team out and Qira doesn’t even need to be geared. She can die turn 1 and Nest will solo the team. Lower gp guilds will have issues though.
There is not a chance nest is going to kill that team by herself in less than 5 minutes.....
Here’s the video showing it. https://youtu.be/JDgO1zqfGak"Ninjah9;c-1638476" wrote:
Oh ok just thought maybe he would benefit a specific leadership ability
His own lead gives defense and tenacity and is tough to kill."CHFC22;c-1638573" wrote:

@ikky2win: I definitely get the point you're making about them being much more efficient on offense. The main reason I'm pushing so hard for defense is that I'm pretty new to the game and got invited to a solid guild. I want to contribute in tw more. I dont have like 20 different squads that are viable, so offense isnt the best area for me to contribute. I figure 5+ defenses is worth much more that defeating a single squad and then losing that offensive team. So that's why I really want to use them for defense now. My tw shard is pretty medium strength, no trayas in sight right now.
In that case it really depends on what your guild needs. Just ask your guildmates. I don’t know of any nightsister teams that will get more than one defense. I only have perspective from my guild and our opponents though. TW can vary widely based on your guilds roster, gp, and participation so it may very well be that the opponents your guild faces don’t have a good solution to defeating nightsisters. That’s just where communicating with your guild comes in seeing what the guild needs.
What's your guild gp?
152m so nearly double yours. If I had to take a guess I would say around 110-120m nightsisters become less effective on defense as more people have Troopers."VonZant;c-1638182" wrote:

So besides cls, who are other great characters to hide in weak teams?
ZSavage.
Not even. I literally just watched a video of my ZSavage on defense as he ignored the opposing Nihulus when he was under 50% and just used his basic instead of his Overkill finisher. What a huge disappointment too and a huge liability in the hands of the outright AWFUL AI DEFENSE."Crazygone510;c-1640179" wrote:

Which sucks, but has absolutely nothing to do with his viability as a TW defense team.
You should not be using zSavage in arena anyway and especially against a team that is good enough to have Nihilus.
TW is not about having the best or most unbeatable team. It is about having a team good enough that it causes your opponents to spend greater resources to defeat it than it costs you. Vandor teams, Phoenix Teams, and zSavage +4 trash are all such teams. My zSavage regularly gets 3-5 wins after he is the only one left. He is perfect for TW defense."Crazygone510;c-1640179" wrote:

@Crazygone510 Savage on AI Defense never uses the Omega version of his OVERPOWER skill, he does however use his Basic version. And no, they’re probably not going to fix his AI, and he’s not the only one with lousy AI Defense programmed.- Forgot to add* (Teams besides Traya)
