There are guys in my guild that use the Wiggs/Lando/Ackbar and whoever else combo and score up to 5 mil on the Rancor raids and 20 mil on the AAT raids. All those characters are good in the raid, besides Dooku (imo). Other good characters for raids are Rex (for dispel), Lando (awesome in the AAT raid), Aayla, Anakin, Vader with his zeta, Phasma, and RG. RG and Anakin are hard to farm but they are very worth it and can be used anywhere in the game. But definitely farm Rex and Sunfac, they are two awesome characters that are now relatively easy to get.
