Hux lead is pretty good, but the +30 speed and TM boost on crits that KRU gives, plus a bit of healing, is pretty hard to compete with. Hux is probably only "better" if you're facing a squad that doesn't have a speed boost on their lead, and even then it's probably more like a tie.
