Bobas payout

If you are grabbing the stats from swgoh.gg, I think the site is bugged right now to show the Resistance Penetration for special damage. All Boba's attacks are physical damage though.

My Boba has 103 (flat) armor penetration for physical, and I only have the g12 piece that gives +60, and not the g12+ one that gives +100. With all pieces he will have 203, so after his payout he will have 609. That's flat.

If your Boba is under g12, I would look at the armor penetration under physical damage to see how much it is.

one of his g12+ piece gives him 100% defense penetration which added with his PO would give him 300% defense penetration

Ok so prior to g12 gear it's not really worth the investment except for gp

Yes. Don't bother with the omega unless you have the g12+ piece equipped

I feel its a broken stat. It is a payout and at g12 boba gains 160 ARMOR penetration not defense penetration. So even at gear 12 his defense penetration stat is 0x200%=0

I'm curious how hard boba hits before the payout and after payout is activated with the g12+ gear equipped

Mines at g10 and showing 0 but one of my guildies hit g12 on his and it's still the same. He hasnt started tossing g12 gear on him yet, i think

You are mixing armor penetration and defense penetration. The payout is for +200% defense penetration. Boba has zero defense penetration.

I'm looking at defense penetration. And it says gain 200 % of that so that would still mean 0 armor pen is it's own thing and it's a 28

Defense is a blanket term meaning both armor (for physical damage) and resistance (for special damage). Boba has 0 resistance penetration, but plenty of armor penetration. Since all his attacks are physical damage, you look at armor penetration.
