I haven’t tried that exact comp, but you may be ok vs. a zPalp lead without Traya because plague might take everyone out, but it will be “iffy”. I find that once the TM train gets rolling with zpalp you end up losing with JTR. Your problem with this combo would be an enemy Traya. With Traya as a lead, MT is almost useless because plague won’t stick. With Traya not as lead your JTR will get isolated every time (unless you fracture her) which means your own TM and assist dynamic is shut down. You could “try” to fracture Traya first, then wipe her out, but you wouldn’t be able to work around Sion and another tank.
Long story short, I would say no...
Holdo instead of R2 would work better and I think you could beat zpalp with Traya assuming your speeds on Holdo or Talzin and thrawn are high enough.
