Could be that plus his repeated self-application of stealth. If the game is incorrectly viewing each re-application as another debuff instead of just the same one, then that'll easily account for the increased damage.
I'm pretty sure it's the repeated application of stealth. For those of us that have been around since the Teebo days of rancor, we know that the Teebo stealth buff from his leadership used to override the stealth from his special and make the previous 3-turn stealth buff fade and the new 1-turn stealth buff takeover, making you drop stealth after a single turn even after using a 3 turn stealth skill.
It took them years, but eventually they fixed that bug by just making stealth stack on to itself instead of applying one buff over the other, because of this Geo Spy can stack stealth on himself over and over everytime he assists for 2 turns and then just unleash 40 stacks of stealth buffs w/ Silent strike instead of just a single stealth buff if he uses the ability on his first turn.
It's bugged. There's plenty of bug reports on it, if you don't want to believe it thats fine, but it is bugged, but I honestly don't think they're gonna fix it because in most cases Silent strike is going to kill it's target anyways, 80k crit after getting barraged by assists is usually a death sentence, so whats the problem if that also does 250k crit? Still a death sentence. It only really matters in niche situations like against Nest (who no one likes anyways), and if they revert the stealth bug to the way it was before, all those toons that rely heavily on stealth will get shorthanded.
