C-3PO Nerf

@Liath: Do you have the link, I haven't seen that post? So yea, the ns fix had a bug but was fixed relatively quickly. The 3PO problem has been going on for over a month. It's a big difference...

Yea so did you even bother to read the comments above you? I'm being called obnoxious, a whining child , and a certain someone who seems incapable of posting something not about me personally. Not to mention the moderator above who is concerned about the "borderline hostility". But no you're probably right, I'm just misperceving these "disagreements" with my statements in this discussion as trolling.

Why people even waste time posting that stuff is beyond me. But I appreciate that you , and @liath are at least trying to discuss the topic without being insulting.

@Firebrigade: I mean really? You're going to compare the rancor raid to the hstr? And no c3po in the hstr is nothing like Thrawn vs the pigs...

It seems like some of you are saying the situation with 3po, and the hstr is fine; while CG has already been clear that it is anything but. And that they intend to change it. The fact that we are even discussing whether or not they are going to do anything totally supports my point, that there is not enough clarity about this issue.

I'm not actually a Dev unfortunately so I don't have any answers for you, I'm a moderator so I'm here to make sure the forums are a safe and constructive place. I just popped in to make sure the conversation stayed constructive and polite.

On that point I do wish to re-iterate we keep this discussion polite, theres a lot of posts in here which are bordering on hostile. Tone these down please or I might have to lock the thread if we can't be civil.

This warning did not seem to have the effect we were looking for.

The current situation is as follows:
- they are still working on it
- they have tried fixes and are not happy with the end effects overall, and possibly the other implications (sorry they dont give us details)
- the fix will be ready when they are happy with the overall situation

Let's be polite and patient with this one, I think we all have the same interests in mind, we want things to be fixed, but we want them to be fixed right.
