Can i unlock Old Ben in time?
I have the other toons needed for the luke event but Old Ben is standing at 4* and 20 odd shards. I can realistically only blow 200 crystals per day in the cantina. Will i be able to get him to 7* in time?

With this event, if I manage to get R2 done in time, there's still no possibility if it begins the day after R2 ends.

Yeah, I'm in an interesting position too. My account is already good to go... but the one I help my nephew with, there's no way we can get R2 maxed out in time. Kind of a bummer since we planned ahead and had Ben and Leia in striking distance and Luke and Han already maxed :(- It looks like I have to stall TFP (53/85) and Kylo (55/85) for Old Ben (9/80). Anyone else agree?
A couple of months ago during the Cantina-wide Double Drop, I tested for Old Ben, IIRC just 2 shards in 9 tries. Then it was pure Lando all the way. - Here's a good tool for cantina planning: http://apps.crouchingrancor.com/Calculators/CantinaPlanner

Apparently the update notes had the exact dates before Kozi redacted them. Supposedly it said August 11th and 12th.- As in, only running for 2 days? I would be surprised at that. And saddened.

No but he had a taunt in the gifs they posted showing off Commander Luke's abilites.- Its worth a shot

I thought the same thing about the Phoenix flash events and Thrawn. You might want to hedge your bets and plan for this one a little earlier than September.
