Captain Phasma’s new omicron

How would you get Captain Phasma to lead Ships?

If it gives a GP increase, that should effect KRCS, but the Omicron itself won’t work. Phasma needs to be the Lead, so she needs to be a character and not a ship.

Does the character leadership (any character’s leadership) ability not effect ships?
