Chief Nebit

Cunning Jawa Tank with Stealth synergies who can reduce cooldowns

Unlocks at 3 Stars (50 Shards)

Available from: Squad Arena Shipments

Abilities

BASIC Attack – Sheltering Shot:

  • Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 55% chance to grant Protection Up equal to 10% of Nebit's Max Health for 2 turns to a random ally who is not Stealthed..

SPECIAL Attacks

  • Distracting Negotiations – Nebit taunts for 1 turn with a 55% chance to gain Heal Over Time for 1 turn. Reduce the cooldowns of all Jawa and Droid allies by 1.

  • Desert Ambush - Deal Physical damage to target enemy and call a random ally to Assist dealing 20% less damage. If the Assisting ally is a Jawa or a Droid, call another random ally to Assist. All Jawa called to Assist gain Stealth for 2 turns.

Leader Ability

  • Jawa and Droid allies gain 10% Critical Chance and inflict Critical Chance Down for 1 turn on a Critical Hit.

General Strategy

Chief Nebit is a Jawa Tank with a lot of Defensive utility through taunting and granting protection to his allies. He could be considered a support tank in that he not only Taunts the enemy, but he can grant protection, provide stealth and reduce the cooldowns of his allies.

Hero Synergies

  • The Obvious synergy will be with other Jawa allies, as they can gain stealth for 3 turns when called by his assist and benefit from Cooldown Reduction when Chief Nebit Taunts.
  • He will have a strong general synergy through the use of his basic which at max level will have a 70% chance to grant a protection shield equal to 20% of Chief Nebit’s Max Health.
  • In addition to his Jawa Synergies, Chief Nebit will increase the critical chance of his Droid allies in addition to a chance to apply critical chance down to the enemy, increasing the team’s survivability.

Where to Use

In general, Chief Nebit should perform well in most game modes. He will round out the Jawa party, enabling the completion of the higher difficulty Mod Challenges as well as enhance the performance of the Jawa team in our AAT raid. The unique ways in which he offers support in addition to taunt should see him used to great effect in a variety of teams.

@UNivek That's interesting, but I notice you don't run potency on 88. Do you find that's enough?

Oh, again, for Raid, I don't bother with potency on 88 since ability block isn't useful and HK always lands enough debuff to boost dmg. For Raid, it also doesn't matter much for HK to go 1st, since there are enough rounds that the initial opening with HK landing debuff is less important.

I was looking at your arena team. How do you get around not triggering Biggs unique when going against Wiggs lando teams? I'm having trouble vs those teams. Especially those that has shore and baze in their team.

This is one good use for K-2SO (if you're on Android device). I've found that K-2 is pretty damn useful! Even outside of Droid/Rebel squads! His daze is useful against counter-attack teams. I mix him into my stun-frenzy team (EP, RG, Daka, K-2, Vader) against teams with 5s, Ayala, and Sun Fac (they appear more often than you'd think in my GW) and he's great for preventing counter attacks.
  • Right now i use HK (Lead), K-2SO, 88, B2, and JE. Originally, swapping out 86 was pretty painful, but then it became a lot easier because K-2SO basically has never ending taunt given the right conditions, so that means 88 and JE can survive a lot longer. I used to use Nebit when he first came out and i thought he was awesome, but then B2 became F2P and i had to put him in for nebit. Nebit is really good on paper, but most of the time he just doesnt fit in with the squad, so unfortunately i dont even use him anymore :(
  • These days, the main use for Nebit (outside of AAT Raid) is to sponge up damage from 5s and/or Dooku in GW for you droid team - if that is what you are using to clear GW. However, even this utility is diminishing now. Even a 5* Palps can get your through GW if you gear him up.
