Chewie Requirements

BH have been farmable for long enough. So only way to compensate is by high gear lock.

Don't do this for new toon requiring events though. That would be a pain.

Very bad event. Pure money suck and i do dislike BHs altogether - need to gear them to g12 to get a rebel character is like a pure JOKE. Spend more than enough in this game, but i am not playing this oh now all need to gear zombie and hey gear those crappy BHs too because than you get a counter character against everything. And well arena will be like up and down because nothing holds anymore in defense and all xtals income is going low...same with mods as they suck out credits income and xtals as well more than before.

Character events always had been around g7-9...now they want to do them g12? I am sorry its like gearing vets up to g12...i have more fun than without the game. Its just too much.

If this is the new standard, I'm not sure this is my game anymore.

What kind of pill options are these??

It sounds like the bare min is g12 boba, g11 Dengar, and g8 greedo Cad and 88. Hardly a tough event.

And what had been jedis (GMY), rebels (Palp) etc before? Its no heroes journey lets not forget this and even those partly had been. I dont think this is the right way to let people gear upto g12 of groups they do not even like (3000 dollar or about 2 months of farm)

It just takes good RNG and decent mods (70-80 speed). I got through T6 with mostly G9s, the only new toon I used was Bossk because I've been farming him since the day he came out (I'm completely F2P). Next time I'll have them ready for T7, and it'll probably take me that long to get Chewie to G11 anyway since I have a lot of other toons to gear first.

Basically, you need at least one new BH to do well. But those are just such hard farms, or not farmable at all, so this event is too soon.
Otherwise, you’re like me and have to use all 1st generation hunters. Which is another form of hard because you basically have to take them to G12. Either way you’ve made it impossible to farm for this event and win without dropping money into it.
Yeah, I’ve heard the argument that BH have been around forever. But they’re also not a “best” team for anything in this game. Which means that unless your an end-game player, you won’t have farmed them yet. This isn’t parallel to the other legendaries. (BB-8 would be the closest.) In fact, it’s the first that I’ve ever been unable to complete. And it’s not like I was caught off guard. I’ve been farming the BH since there was even a hint they’d be needed for something. At the moment, I’ve even dropped all other farms.
It just feels to me like a shameless money-grab. I’m all for a challenge, but this is well-nigh impossible for a player like me (almost a year in, 1.25Mil, what I’d say is an early end-game player).
All I can say is, if the Chewie event is so hard, he’d better be WAY stronger than Thrawn. But I’ve seen nothing to indicate he will be.

What if I told you, Legendary Chewie is not meant for early end-game players.

So frustrating to see people complain about needing to move potency mods. This was the easiest event so far.
