Does chirpa have a worse drop rate than every other toon? Just went 0/15

Ugh, 5 refreshes each day for the last 3 days. 13 total, 17 total, 10 total plus whatever I get for the rest of the day. 2100 crystals for 40 shards including bonus energy and over time energy.
