Cleanse / Tenacity Up

When will we deal w/ the actual issue that these abilities are causing as opposed to just making all new characters abilities be unavoidable and/or unresistable?

I appreciate not wanting to swing the nerf bat, but this is way passive aggressive and continues to promote the Lemming playstyle of collect whatever is new, cause it'll be the best.
