Of course, but that's not the point. In 2017 EA earned "$82 million or a 15 percent increase in mobile net revenue primarily driven by Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" (page 31 of their Annual Report). So irrespective of how many accounts there are, the point was EA generates a lot of revenue off this game and hence could be more generous with their drop rates.
Not really trying to defend EA, like at all, but 82m is table scraps. They make nearly 10x that annually just off MUT purchases in FIFA, Madden & NHL alone.
I think they could do more, sure, but this is probably the fairest game I've played in handing out premium currency and balance between f2p and paid players.
That said, there has been a few recent choices that I think are a step backwards, such as the g12 packs, removing Crystal Booster option, "premium" toons in platoons, and Talzin/Wicket shard rate; but overall I'm happy with the progress the game has made, the new content, character release schedule, and the switch from undetermined ETA chromium exclusives to Marquee Events/Legendary Events/Hero's Journey releases.
