I'd argue this isn't about him being OP, but that he's a freakin' easy button for otherwise middling sub-top 10 players to stick in their squad and be able to move up in the ranks. That's what I've been seeing a lot of in my shard. CLS = easy button to move up, but none of those guys stick around. He's kind of like the easy button that Rex was ... or Zaul was ... or Wiggs ... etc.
Edit: He is a top 5 toon no doubt, but he's definitely useful to help more folks have a chance at the top than they otherwise would have.
