I believe the tiers in the event will use separate toons, and function the same as Phoenix flash events did. So, you will use different toons for different tiers, your lead will change based on who you have available.

Just wait it till the event actually, officially come out. Save ur material.

They already said that the event will have different difficulty that you will need to change your strategy to complete all stage. This mean that you will probably need to change your leader to complete all stage of CLS event.

i agree with this, i'm just going to save all my resources until we know, outside of leveling them up to 85 and g8. i have plenty to take them further, but don't want to if i don't have too

My guess is that the event could get geared to have Luke as the leader and the additional Tenacity will be a key. Also, it was hinted that the event would have multiple battles with different strategies so most likely will need to use different leaders in the different battles to progress.

11 is probably overkill, but the reworked EP4 units are really good so you'll likely wind up using them outside this event. I generally don't tune any event to need "the max" of gear/mods, so that if you're having trouble winning you have a valid path to increasing power to overcome the challenge. (Assault Battles & Heroic Battles bonus tiers being an exception to this). That said, mods are going to be important. The enemies in the event have been tweaked and each tier is a new battle with special mechanics or gameplay. You may have to adapt your strategy as you progress through the event, and mods are the most flexible way to do that.
